After reading this article, I understand the importance of a dog on people's lives, and I do believe that people deserve the right to adopt the military dog that they have worked with during their service. Jose and Zendid showed an extraordinary relationship, an amazing bond between people and dog. These military officers should have the right to adopt their dog, because they have served the country, and their dog became their best friend. They were faithful and always loyal. These dogs are have an wonderful friendship that should not be broken by the tour of their duty ending.
ReplyDeleteRetired Veterinarians should be able to adopt their former military dogs. Dogs are a man best friend, and to lose a best friend who you have a close relationship with is unbearable as Jose described it. Humans easily make special relationships with their pets, especially in these hard to bear circumstances. During combatt the dog and its owner work together to accomplish something and the have that bond taken away from someone because you don't "work for them" is horrible. The US Military should have a program where injured soldiers should be able to adopt their former service dog and be able to live with them.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading this article, I believe that retired veterans should be able to adopt former military dogs. These people have gone through thick and thin with these dogs and now they are finally retired from there hard work. Probably over the years working with these dogs they have grown a special bond between them, so it would be very hard to break them apart. Also it wouldn't be right to not let the owner have an animal who loves them when they served our country and did grew things for the world.
